Chinatown is an untapped resource when it comes to the dive bar scene. Winnie’s is a great dive bar about half a block away from the tombs (NY’s holding cells for the arrested parties). It’s a cash only establishment and don’t sell draft beers, your selection is limited but hey it is dive bar and if the beer is cold you don’t have much to complain about. They’re also known for cheap karaoke so if you’re one of those bastards who likes belting out some Prince and looking foolish this is a perfect spot for you.
