Off the beaten path in Chinatown, that’s right Chinatown is the Whiskey Tavern. Known to some for their pickle back shots……what the hell is a pickle back you ask! A pickle back is a shot of pickle juice usually taken as a chaser to a whiskey shot or whatever kind of shot you like. It may sound nasty, but it sure does cut that face tweaking aftertaste of a rough shot. With a good selection of draft beers, bottled beers, whiskey and food this place will grow on you. If you happen to be in the Chinatown area stop in, grab a pint and order a basket of the tater tots, and If you feel daring a shot and a pickle back!
