Downtown Jersey City is fast becoming a hot spot for out of towners and translplants alike, but one of the places that has been around way before much of the new buildings and gentrification is The Iron Monkey on Greene St.  The tandem Liver Bashers drinking team and a few other’s headed down to check out one of the many Events they host called meet the Brewery Night. Six Point, the Brewers from Red Hook showcased six of their beers on tap when we came to visit.  The Iron Monkey carries a great selection of beer on tap and an insane bottle selection somewhere in the hundreds. It’s a bit off the main strip of what we would call Jersey City’s restaurant row but definitely worth checking out especially for their roof top seating.  Check here for a full list of beer.
