Welshmen Mark Evans said he had found the recipe while looking into his own families history and discovered it in his great-great grandmothers old recipe book which he says is the orignal recipe for one of our beloved friends Jack Daniel’s. Read the full story here.

The Macallan 57 year old Single Malt Whisky
If you have an extra $15, 000 laying around we suggest you pick up a one of the limited edition bottles of Macallan 57 year old Single Malt Whisky for sale in selected outlets. David Cox, Director of Fine & Rare Whiskies for The Macallan reported. “The 57-year-old has been vatted together from two casks; the first, a 1950 American oak sherry butt, the second a vatting of Macallan from Spanish oak sherry butts originally filled in 1949, 1951 and 1952. The result is softly sumptuous single malt, showing off the classic dried fruits, spice and hints of peat redolent of The Macallan house style of the early 1950’s. Due to the rarity of the liquid, only 400 decanters will be produced,” you know if we had the money we would pick up a bottle just to let you all know if it was worth the money.
100 Year Old Whisky
We caught this on Discovery Channel one day and thought it was really interesting for the fact that they found the Whisky frozen on Antarctica. 3 cases were found and three bottles were sent to Master Blender Richard Paterson of Whyte & Mackay in Glasgow whose nose has been insured for 1.5 million Euro’s (Almost 2 million US) to analyze the characteristics of the Whisky.
