The Half Pint is nestled amongst the bars in the West Village near the campus of NYU, it is said the patrons of this bar run the gambit from the Professors to the students who attend NYU. With a staggering 138 different bottles of beer as well as 24 taps to choose from, the selection is good enough to please anyone’s pallet. The atmosphere is great, it’s fairly new bar but still holds a bit of that old pub feel. The Half Pint has all the normal pub fair as well as a build your own sandwich menu. My friends and I ordered the mild buffalo wings, Cajun house cut fries and a plate of nachos. The wings were some of the best wings I have ever tasted but the fries were a bit salty for my taste. The spiciness of the fries paired well with a my IPA, the nachos were nothing to write home about. We tried a variety of beers from the menu which were well organized and easy to sift through. The selection is large featuring beers from Jamaica, Japan, Scotland and more. For a full list of their beers just click here
